The meeting was called to order at 7:07.
Nancy passed out a memo outlining budget cuts to the Municipal Budget of $736,568.00 to meet a WRSD Assessment of $79,300,000.00. Nancy explained the cuts and the reasons for the choices. She had met with the Department Heads to discuss the suggested cuts.
The Committee discussed the cuts and the effect on the Municipal Budget for F/Y 13 and the following budget years.
A motion by Paul 2nd by Joe that the Finance Committee support a budget change not to exceed to $2, 849,208.00 in the RASA part of the WRSD Budget for F/Y 13 was voted in favor 6-1 (opposed Don).
Paul reported that the Mountview Building Committee has signed a contract with Lamoureux, Pagano Associates. They are beginning to develop a more detailed process for Mountview. The committee will be meeting with MSBA in mid May.
A motion by Paul 2nd by Karl to approve the minutes of April 11, 2012 was voted unanimously (abstained Peter).
A motion by Paul 2nd by Joe to approve the minutes of April 18, 2012 was voted unanimously (abstained Don).
